Privacy Policy

Zero Data Collection

IFE Bridge is designed with privacy as the foundation. We collect no personal data, no analytics, no tracking, and no telemetry. Everything runs 100% on your device.

No Personal Information

IFE Bridge does not collect, store, or transmit any personal information. This includes but is not limited to:

• Names, email addresses, or contact information
• Location data or travel information
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage patterns or behavior analytics
• Crash reports or diagnostic data

No Audio Data Collection

All audio processing happens locally on your iPhone. Audio streams from your USB input to your Bluetooth output entirely within your device. We never:

• Record audio without your explicit action
• Upload or transmit audio data to any server
• Analyze or process audio content
• Store audio streams (except recordings you create)

No Third-Party Services

IFE Bridge contains no third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking frameworks. There are no external SDKs monitoring your usage. We don't use:

• Analytics services (Google Analytics, Firebase, etc.)
• Advertising networks or trackers
• Social media integrations
• Cloud services for data storage or processing

No Network Connections

IFE Bridge does not make any network connections. The app functions entirely offline and does not require an internet connection to operate. We have no servers, no APIs, and no backend infrastructure.

App Settings & Preferences

Your preferences (buffer size, sample rate, Bluetooth mode, etc.) are stored locally using iOS UserDefaults. These settings never leave your device and are only accessible to IFE Bridge.

Audio Recordings

When you create a recording, the WAV file is saved to your iPhone's local storage in the IFE Bridge app container. These files:

• Remain on your device until you delete them
• Are accessible only through the Files app or IFE Bridge app
• Can be shared by you using iOS share features
• Are automatically backed up by iCloud if you have app data backup enabled

Diagnostic Logs

If you enable diagnostic logging in Advanced Settings, logs are stored locally on your device. These logs contain technical information about the audio pipeline (buffer status, sample rates, etc.) but no personal information. You can clear logs at any time or disable logging entirely.

Required Permissions

IFE Bridge requires the following iOS permissions to function:

These permissions are used exclusively for audio bridging functionality. We do not access the microphone for recording unless you explicitly tap the record button.

IFE Bridge is currently available through Apple's TestFlight beta program. When you use TestFlight, Apple may collect diagnostic and usage information as part of the TestFlight service. This data collection is managed by Apple, not by IFE Bridge, and is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.

IFE Bridge itself still collects zero data during the beta period. All privacy guarantees above apply to the TestFlight version.

Our commitment to zero data collection is permanent. However, if we ever need to update this privacy policy (for example, to clarify existing practices or comply with legal requirements), we will post the updated policy on this page and update the "Last Updated" date below.

Any future changes will maintain our core principle: your data stays on your device.
